All theatre majors are required to take the first year of the curriculum. At the end of first year, students may elect to take the Tech Track for the remaining time. The Tech Program at LACHSA prepares students, through coursework and hands-on experiences, to work in technical theater and includes a range of topics designed to give students knowledge and proficient skills, while giving them the opportunity to work behind the scenes in theatre and other professional theatrical venues. However, all Tech students are required to take their Acting class for all four years.
